Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT) run at the 2023 Scotties Tournament of Hearts came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-5 loss to Kerri Einarson (Gimli, CAN). of the 2023 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Kamloops, British Columbia;

McCarville finished 7-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCarville defeated Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) 11-8, then won 9-6 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB). McCarville went on to lose 7-5 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON). McCarville responded with a 8-6 win over Andrea Kelly (Fredericton, NB). McCarville won 8-6 against Meghan Walter (Winnipeg, MB), then won 5-4 against Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT) and 10-2 against Hailey Birnie (Whitehorse, YK). McCarville won 8-7 against Stacie Curtis (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

McCarville earned 45.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, moving up 32 spots the World Ranking Standings into 36th place overall with 91.510 total points. McCarville ranks 43rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 70.875 points earned so far this season.
