Bruce Mouat (STIRLING, SCO) won 6-5 over Brendan Bottcher (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Co-op Canadian Open, held January 16 - 21, 2024 in Red Deer, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Mouat won 5-3 over Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2024 Co-op Canadian Open in Red Deer, Alberta; and won 5-4 over James Craik (Forfar, SCO) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Co-op Canadian Open in Red Deer, Alberta;
 
Mouat finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Daniel Casper (Chaska, MN) 10-3, then won 9-2 against Craik and 6-3 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN). Mouat won 7-5 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Co-op Canadian Open Championship title, Mouat earned 75.000 world rankings points along with the $42,000CDN first prize cheque. Mouat move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 55.5 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 2nd overall with 417.562 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Mouat ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 326.000 points earned so far this season.
