Niclas Perem (Gothenburg, SWE) finished 1-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . Perem went on to lose 8-7 against Johnny Eriksson (Silverstenen, SWE). Perem lost 9-0 to Fredrik Julius (Sundbyberg, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
