Joel Westerberg (Sundbyberg, SWE) qualified for the 2023 Swedish Curling Championships playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 12-3 against Oskar Eriksson (Karlstad, SWE).

Westerberg finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . Westerberg responded with a 8-2 win over Anders Kraupp (Danderyd, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Westerberg earned 10.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Swedish Curling Championships. For week 27 of the event schedule, Westerberg did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Westerberg ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
