Iversen/Lorentsen Reaches 2023 Norwegian Mixed Doubles Championship Quarters

Rikke Iversen/Rune Lorentsen (Halden, NOR) qualified for the 2023 Norwegian Mixed Doubles Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-5 against Nora Oestgaard/Eskild Eriksen (Trondheim, NOR). of the 2023 Norwegian Mixed Doubles Championship in Haugesund, Norway;

Iversen/Lorentsen finished 3-1 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Iversen/Lorentsen defeated Eilin Kjaerland/Njal Kongssund (Haugesund, NOR) 7-1, then won 8-6 against Miriam Hanson/Roald Larsen (Haugesund, NOR) and 10-4 against Heidi Kjaerland/Arne Martin Kjaerland (Haugesund, NOR). Iversen/Lorentsen went on to lose 10-2 against Maia Ramsfjell/Magnus Ramsfjell (Trondheim, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Iversen/Lorentsen earned 3.750 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Norwegian Mixed Doubles Championship. For week 26 of the event schedule, Iversen/Lorentsen did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Iversen/Lorentsen ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
