Kleiter finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kleiter defeated Jacques Gauthier (Victoria, BC) 8-4, then won 8-1 against Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB) and 7-2 against Jacob Libbus (Okotoks, AB). Kleiter went on to lose 6-5 against Ryan Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kleiter earned 12.750 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the SGI Canada Best of the West. Kleiter move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 5.437 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 39th overall with 96.500 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Kleiter ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 96.500 points earned so far this season.
