Hostmaelingen finished 5-4 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hostmaelingen lost 13-5 to Kapp, then responded with a 6-5 win over Giacomo Colli (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Hostmaelingen won 9-5 against Serkan Karagoz (Erzurum, TUR), then won 8-6 against Switzerland's Jan Iseli and 10-8 against Ethan Sampson (Chaska, USA). Hostmaelingen went on to lose 9-3 against Landan Rooney (Whitby, CAN). Hostmaelingen lost 7-6 to Xueqing Fei (Beijing, CHN) where Hostmaelingen responded with a 6-3 win over Eunbin Kim (Kyungil, KOR). Hostmaelingen went on to lose 8-5 against Carson in their final qualifying round match.

With their fourth place finish at the World Junior Curling Championships, Hostmaelingen take home 16.000 world rankings points. For week 31 of the event schedule, Hostmaelingen did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hostmaelingen ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
