10-3 to Tessa Thurlow (Eau Claire, USA), droppimg another game, 7-3 to Torhild Bjoernstad (Lillehammer, NOR) where Kang responded with a 7-4 win over Emily Deschenes (Chester, CAN). Kang won 8-5 against Sara Messenzehl (Fuessen, GER). Kang went on to lose 7-6 against Yuina Miura (Nayoro, JPN). Kang responded with a 8-4 win over Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT). Kang went on to lose 6-5 against Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO). Kang lost 7-6 to Xenia Schwaller (Zürich, SUI) where Kang responded with a 9-6 win over Moa Dryburgh (Sundbyberg, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kang earned 5.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Kang did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kang ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
