Dunstone won 8-4 against Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS), then won 8-4 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) and 13-3 against Nathan Young (St. John's, NL). Dunstone won 9-5 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB), then won 9-2 against Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Tim Hortons Brier, Dunstone take home 52.250 world rankings points. Dunstone move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of 17.35 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 2nd overall with 332.500 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
