Scoffin went on to lose 7-6 against Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB). Scoffin lost 10-7 to Mike McEwen (Toronto, ON) where Scoffin responded with a 9-2 win over Tyler Smith (Charlottetown , PEI). Scoffin went on to lose 10-6 against Brendan Bottcher (Calgary, AB). Scoffin lost 9-7 to Scott Jones (Moncton, NB). Scoffin lost 8-3 to Brad Gushue (St. John's, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.

Scoffin earned 7.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 32 of the event schedule, Scoffin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Scoffin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
