Brendan Bottcher (Calgary, AB) run at the 2023 Tim Hortons Brier came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-5 loss to Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2023 Tim Hortons Brier in London, Ontario;

Bottcher finished 7-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bottcher defeated Tyler Smith (Charlottetown , PEI) 8-2, then won 10-3 against Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) and 8-4 against Mike McEwen (Toronto, ON). Bottcher won 9-3 against Jacques Gauthier (Victoria, BC), then won 8-7 against Scott Jones (Moncton, NB). Bottcher went on to lose 6-3 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, CAN). Bottcher responded with a 10-6 win over Thomas Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK). Bottcher won 8-7 against Felix Asselin (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Bottcher earned 42.750 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Tim Hortons Brier. Bottcher gained -6.522 points improving upon their best 8 events, though dropped 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 4thplace overall with 315.750 total points.
