Amanda Kuzyk/Ben Gamble (Regina, SK) finished 2-3 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kuzyk/Gamble defeated Alison Ingram/Cole Tenetuik (North Battleford, SK) 7-6, then went on to lose 8-6 against Taylor Stremick/Cody Sutherland (Saskatoon, SK). Kuzyk/Gamble lost 10-9 to Saskatchewan's Halynne Lamontagne/Grady LaMontagne where Kuzyk/Gamble responded with a 6-3 win over Lydia Zukewich/Tanner Kinaschuk (Martensville, SK). Kuzyk/Gamble went on to lose 6-5 against Patty Hersikorn/Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Kuzyk/Gamble earned 1.875 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Kuzyk/Gamble did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kuzyk/Gamble ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
