Sherry Just/Dean Grindheim (Prince Albert, SK) finished 3-3 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Just/Grindheim defeated Saskatchewan's Ashley Williamson/Sam Wills 8-7, then went on to lose 8-7 against Madison Kleiter/Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK). Just/Grindheim responded with a 13-5 win over Saskatchewan's Abbey Johnson/ Johnson. Just/Grindheim went on to lose 7-3 against Saskatchewan's Sara England/Jared Gudereit. Just/Grindheim lost 10-9 to Sarah Hoag/James Gordon (Martensville, SK) where Just/Grindheim responded with a 7-3 win over Hoag/Gordon in their final qualifying round match.

Just/Grindheim earned 2.813 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Just/Grindheim did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Just/Grindheim ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
