Jack Strawhorn (Dumfries, SCO) lost 6-3 to Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO) in the Final of the Scottish Curling Junior Championships, held November 8 - 13, 2022 in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Strawhorn finished 7-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Strawhorn defeated Carson 6-5, then won 9-2 against Stewart Kyle (Dumfries, SCO). Strawhorn went on to lose 5-4 against Ross Craik (Forfar, SCO). Strawhorn responded with a 8-3 win over Ethan Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO). Strawhorn won 8-2 against Gavin Cameron (Moray, SCO), then won 9-6 against David Beesley (Edinburgh, SCO) and 10-5 against Fraser Swanston (Forfar, SCO). Strawhorn won 11-5 against Arran Thomson (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Scottish Curling Junior Championships, Strawhorn take home 5.500 world rankings points. For week 15 of the event schedule, Strawhorn did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Strawhorn ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
