Jodi Bass (Dumfries, SCO) lost 6-5 to Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO) in the Final of the Scottish Curling Junior Championships, held November 8 - 13, 2022 in Aberdeen, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Bass won 11-3 over Amy Mitchell (Greenacres, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2023 Scottish Curling Junior Championships in Aberdeen, Scotland;
Bass finished 4-4 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bass defeated Jenny Jahn (Dumfries, SCO) 8-4, then won 8-6 against Ishbel McCartney (Stirling, SCO). Bass went on to lose 7-2 against Henderson. Bass lost 10-5 to Layla Huntly (Dumfries, SCO) where Bass responded with a 16-6 win over Chloe McNaughton (Perth, SCO). Bass won 10-4 against Katie Archibald (Dumfries, SCO). Bass went on to lose 9-8 against Tamzin Smith (Aberdeen, SCO). Bass lost 9-3 to Mitchell in their final qualifying round match.
Bass earned 4.250 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Scottish Curling Junior Championships. For week 15 of the event schedule, Bass did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Bass ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
