Kirstin Bousie/Craig Waddell (Sterling, SCO) qualified for the 2023 Scottish Curling Mixed Doubles Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Amy MacDonald/Blair Haswell (Sterling, SCO). of the 2023 Scottish Curling Mixed Doubles Championship in Perth, Scotland;

Bousie/Waddell finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bousie/Waddell defeated Rachael Dakers/Harry Gow (Edinburgh, SCO) 7-1, then won 10-2 against Emma Barr/Gavin Barr (Edinburgh, SCO). Bousie/Waddell went on to lose 8-5 against MacDonald/Haswell. Bousie/Waddell lost 9-5 to Sophie Sinclair/Ross Whyte (Sterling, SCO) where Bousie/Waddell responded with a 7-5 win over Katie McMillan/Hammy McMillan Jr. (Sterling , SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Bousie/Waddell earned 10.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Scottish Curling Mixed Doubles Championship.
