Sophie Jackson/Duncan McFadzean (Sterling, SCO) lost 6-4 to Jennifer Dodds/Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) in the Final of the Scottish Curling Mixed Doubles Championship, held February 22 - 26, 2023 in Perth, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Jackson/McFadzean won 9-3 over Amy MacDonald/Blair Haswell (Sterling, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2023 Scottish Curling Mixed Doubles Championship in Perth, Scotland; and won 9-8 over Hailey Duff/Bobby Lammie (Sterling, SCO) in the quarterfinals.
 
Jackson/McFadzean finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jackson/McFadzean defeated Holly Davis/Jamie Rankin (Edinburgh, SCO) 10-0, then went on to lose 11-4 against Beth Farmer/Euan Kyle (Sterling, SCO). Jackson/McFadzean responded with a 8-2 win over Lisa Davie/Mark Watt (Sterling, SCO). Jackson/McFadzean won 7-5 against Dodds/Mouat in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Scottish Curling Mixed Doubles Championship, Jackson/McFadzean take home 19.250 world rankings points. For week 30 of the event schedule, Jackson/McFadzean did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
