Hopson/Tippett went on to lose 6-2 against Lauren Wasylkiw/Shane Konings (Stouffville, ON). Hopson/Tippett lost 7-5 to Hale/ Mulville (Kingston, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Hopson/Tippett earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 30 of the event schedule, Hopson/Tippett did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hopson/Tippett ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
