Claire Randell (Welland, ON) lost 5-4 to Josie Zimmerman (Camrose, AB) in the Final of the CCAA / Curling Canada College Championships, held March 15 - 19, 2023 in Sudbury, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Randell won 7-6 over Gabby Wood (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2023 CCAA / Curling Canada College Championships in Sudbury, Ontario;
 
Randell are currently 5-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Randell defeated Bayly Scoffin (Calgary, AB) 8-6, then won 8-6 against Kaylee Raniseth (Red Deer, AB) and 8-2 against Veronica Van Broekhoven (London, ON). Randell won 14-4 against Jayna Petingalo (Sault Ste Marie, ON), then won 7-6 against Wood. Randell went on to lose 10-5 against Meaghan Mallett (Toronto, ON). In their next game, Randell plays.
 
With their runner-up finish at the CCAA / Curling Canada College Championships, Randell take home 5.500 world rankings points. For week 33 of the event schedule, Randell did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Randell ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
