Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) won 8-7 over Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) in the Final of the Soo Curlers Fall Classic presented by KIOTI Tractors, held October 26 - 29, 2023 at the YNCU Curling Centre in Sault Ste.Marie, . To advance to the championship game, Dunstone won 7-3 over Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) in the semifinals of the 2023 Soo Curlers Fall Classic presented by KIOTI Tractors in Sault Ste.Marie; and won 7-5 over Mark Kean (Oakville, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Soo Curlers Fall Classic presented by KIOTI Tractors in Sault Ste.Marie;

Dunstone finished 3-0 in the 21-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunstone defeated Brian Adams Jr. (Thunder Bay, NONT) 9-4, then won 11-5 against Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) and 6-4 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Soo Curlers Fall Classic presented by KIOTI Tractors Championship title, Dunstone earned 30.000 world rankings points along with the $23,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 6th place overall with 315.875 total points. Dunstone ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 102.750 points earned so far this season.
