Abe lost 7-5 to Nathan Young (St. Johns, NL) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Abe earned 4.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 53rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 3.562 after improving upon their best so far this season. Abe ranks 46th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 30.750 points earned so far this season.
