Dunstone finished 3-0 in the 21-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunstone defeated Brian Adams Jr. (Thunder Bay, NO) 9-4, then won 11-5 against Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) and 6-4 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Soo Curlers Fall Classic presented by KIOTI Tractors Championship title, Dunstone earned 30.000 world rankings points along with the $23,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 6th place overall with 315.875 total points. Dunstone ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 102.750 points earned so far this season.
