In their opening game, Peterman/Gallant defeated Rachel Homan/Tyler Tardi (Ottawa, ON) 7-4, then won 7-5 against Patty Hersikorn/Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) and 7-2 against Sarah Loken/Cody Tanaka (Richmond, BC). Peterman/Gallant won 9-1 against Ashley Kalk/Craig MacAlpine (Edmonton, AB), then won 7-4 against Patty Wallingham/Ben Robinson (Whithorse, YK) and 7-6 against Clancy Grandy/John Morris (Canmore, AB). Peterman/Gallant won 6-4 against Emilie Desjardins/Robert Desjardins (Saguenay, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
