To advance to the championship game, Peterman/Gallant won 7-6 over Brittany Tran/Aaron Sluchinski (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals   of the 2023 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Sudbury, Ontario; and won 8-1 over Lynn Kreviazuk/David Mathers (Ottawa, ON) in the quarterfinals.  of the 2023 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Sudbury, Ontario; 
 
Peterman/Gallant finished 7-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterman/Gallant defeated Rachel Homan/Tyler Tardi (Ottawa, ON) 7-4, then won 7-5 against Patty Hersikorn/Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) and 7-2 against Sarah Loken/Cody Tanaka (Richmond, BC). Peterman/Gallant won 9-1 against Ashley Kalk/Craig MacAlpine (Edmonton, AB), then won 7-4 against Patty Wallingham/Ben Robinson (Whithorse, YK) and 7-6 against Clancy Grandy/John Morris (Canmore, AB). Peterman/Gallant won 6-4 against Emilie Desjardins/Robert Desjardins (Saguenay, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, Peterman/Gallant take home 55.000 world rankings points.
