6-5 to Adam Fenton (Vancouver, BC), droppimg another game, 8-7 to Adam Bedard (Rouyn-Noranda, QC) where Drewitz responded with a 6-2 win over Logan Ede (Martensville, SK). Drewitz went on to lose 6-2 against Nova Scotia's Calan MacIsaac. Drewitz lost 5-4 to Timothy Marin (Saint John, NB) where Drewitz responded with a 8-7 win over Newfoundland / Labrador's Simon Perry. Drewitz won 9-6 against Landan Rooney (Mississauga, ON). Drewitz went on to lose 8-7 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Drewitz earned 3.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
