Emily Bowles (Victoria, BC) finished 3-5 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bowles lost 10-3 to Claire Booth (Calgary, AB), droppimg another game, 10-4 to Zoey Terrick (Winnipeg, MB) where Bowles responded with a 7-4 win over Allyson MacNutt (Halifax, NS). Bowles won 10-4 against Elizabeth Kessel (Regina, SK), then won 7-6 against Bayly Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK). Bowles went on to lose 9-8 against Bella Croisier (Sudbury, NONT). Bowles lost 9-4 to Elizabeth Cyr (Pointe-Claire, QC). Bowles lost 10-6 to Myla Plett (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Bowles earned 3.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 35 of the event schedule, Bowles did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Bowles ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
