Epping finished 3-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping defeated Warren Smith (Collingwood, ON) 11-5, then won 6-4 against Alex Champ (Toronto, ON) and 6-2 against Howard in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Stu Sells Living Waters Collingwood Classic Championship title, Epping earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $5,700CDN first prize cheque. Epping move up 5 spots after posting a net gain of 13.875 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 20th overall with 164.437 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
