To advance to the championship game, Mooibroek won 8-2 over Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) in the semifinals of the 2023 Stu Sells Living Waters Collingwood Classic in Collingwood, Ontario; and won 6-2 over Alex Champ (Toronto, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Stu Sells Living Waters Collingwood Classic in Collingwood, Ontario;
 
Mooibroek finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mooibroek defeated Daniel Hocevar (Toronto, ON) 8-5, then won 6-5 against Mark Kean (Woodstock, ON). Mooibroek went on to lose 5-3 against Ferris. Mooibroek responded with a 9-3 win over Champ in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Stu Sells Living Waters Collingwood Classic, Mooibroek take home 13.750 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN prize, remaining in 29th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 3.125 after improving upon their best so far this season.
