Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) lost 5-3 to Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in the Final of the Stu Sells 1824 Halifax Classic, held November 1 - 5, 2023 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Jones finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Katelyn Wasylkiw (Milton, ON) 8-6, then won 7-4 against Jessica Daigle (Halifax , NS) and 11-1 against Stacie Curtis (St. John's, NL). Jones went on to lose 6-2 against Stefania Constantini (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.
