Klima lost 8-4 to Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA). Klima lost 8-6 to Magnus Ramsfjell (Lillehammer, NOR). Klima lost 9-3 to Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Klima earned 12.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
