McEwen went on to lose 6-5 against Morozumi. McEwen responded with a 6-1 win over Riku Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

McEwen earned 19.125 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Saville Shootout, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 24th place overall with 155.969 total points. McEwen ranks 31st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.125 points earned so far this season.
