Paetz/Michael won 12-3 against Marina Loertscher/Pablo Lachat (Lausanne, SUI), then won 6-4 against Sarah Mueller/Marco Hoesli (Bern, SUI) and 6-5 against Schwaller/Schwaller. Paetz/Michael won 11-0 against Sarah Schaar/Michael Bugnon (Flims, SUI), then won 8-5 against Daniela Rupp/Kevin Wunderlin (Zug, SUI). Paetz/Michael went on to lose 8-5 against Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
