In their opening game, Hood lost 8-2 to Daniel Casper (Chaska, MN), then responded with a 4-3 win over JaeBeom Lee (Uiseong, KOR). Hood went on to lose 7-3 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB). Hood lost 7-6 to Rob Nobert (Vernon, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
