Advancing directly to the semifinals, Kapp won 6-2 over Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED) to advance to the championship game. of the 2023 HUB International Alberta Curling Series Major in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada;
 
Kapp finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kapp defeated Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB) 7-4, then won 6-1 against Gosgens and 7-2 against Daniel Casper (Chaska, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the HUB International Alberta Curling Series Major, Kapp take home 30.250 world rankings points along with the $4,250CDN prize, moving up 18 spots the World Ranking Standings into 41st place overall with 98.379 total points.
