Yannick Schwaller (Geneve, SUI) qualified for the 2024 Astec Safety Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB). of the 2024 Astec Safety Challenge in Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada;
 
Schwaller finished 2-1 in the 21-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schwaller defeated Mike McEwen (Saskatoon, SK) 6-2, then went on to lose 7-5 against Bruce Mouat (STIRLING, SCO). Schwaller responded with a 6-1 win over Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
