To advance to the championship game, Wang won 6-4 over Michelle Hartwell (Sherwood Park, AB) in the semifinals of the 2023 Alberta Curling Series - Event 1 in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada; and won 8-1 over Jessica Wytrychowski (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Alberta Curling Series - Event 1 in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada;
 
Wang finished 4-0 in the 17-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wang defeated Kellie Stiksma (Edmonton, AB) 9-4, then won 8-2 against Melissa Pierce (Edmonton , AB) and 6-2 against Miori Nakamura (Aomori, JPN). Wang won 6-4 against Minjae Jung (Uiseong, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Alberta Curling Series - Event 1 Championship title, Wang earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $3,700CDN first prize cheque. Wang move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 10.5 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 52nd overall with 60.516 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Wang ranks 18th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 57.000 points earned so far this season.
