Miyu Ueno (Karuizawa, JPN) lost 6-4 to Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN) in the Final of the Alberta Curling Series - Event 2, held November 3 - 5, 2023 at the Beaumont Curling Club in Beaumont, Canada. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Ueno won 4-2 over Jessica Wytrychowski (Edmonton, AB) to advance to the championship game. of the 2023 Alberta Curling Series - Event 2 in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada;
 
Ueno finished 4-0 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ueno defeated Honoka Sasaki (Kitami, JPN) 9-6, then won 7-1 against Cathy Borys (Calgary, AB) and 6-4 against Kaitlyn Bowman (Calgary , AB). Ueno won 6-3 against Wytrychowski in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Alberta Curling Series - Event 2, Ueno take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $1,750CDN prize, remaining in 42nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 3.75 after improving upon their best so far this season. Ueno ranks 38th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 45.625 points earned so far this season.
