Owen Purcell (Halifax, NS) won 8-5 over Yannick Martel (Saguenay, QC) in the Final of the Summer Series, held August 24 - 27, 2023 in St-Felicien, Quebec. To advance to the championship game, Purcell won 6-4 over Sam Mooibroek (Whitby, ON) in the semifinals of the 2023 Summer Series in St-Felicien, Quebec; and won 6-5 over John Epping (Toronto, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Summer Series in St-Felicien, Quebec;
 
Purcell finished 3-1 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Purcell defeated Jayden King (Guelph, ON) 9-6, then won 6-3 against Jordan McNamara (Ottawa, ON) and 10-5 against P.N. Raju (Hyderabad, IN). Purcell went on to lose 7-1 against Mooibroek in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Summer Series Championship title, Purcell earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $5,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 48th place overall with 77.438 total points. Purcell ranks 18th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 18.750 points earned so far this season.
