Lauren Horton (Montreal, QC) run at the 2023 Summer Series came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-7 loss to Danielle Inglis (Ottawa, ON). of the 2023 Summer Series in St-Felicien, Quebec; Horton advanced through the quarterfinals with a 7-3 win over Isabelle Ladouceur (Whitby, ON). of the 2023 Summer Series in St-Felicien, Quebec;

Horton went on to lose 6-4 against Christina Black (Halifax, NS). Horton responded with a 7-0 win over Lauren Mann (Timmins, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.

Horton earned 14.875 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Summer Series, moving up 87 spots the World Ranking Standings into 105th place overall with 19.313 total points. Horton ranks 17th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.875 points earned so far this season.
