Kitz/Stewart finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kitz/Stewart defeated Katie McKenzie/Thomas Dunlop (Winnipeg, MB) 8-7, then won 10-3 against Manitoba's Sarah-Jane Sass/Lucas Van Den Bosch and 11-0 against Mikaylah Lyburn/Rylan Campbell (Winnipeg, MB).
