Powers/Saunders finished 5-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Powers/Saunders defeated Mikaylah Lyburn/Rylan Campbell (Winnipeg, MB) 8-1, then won 8-5 against Katie McKenzie/Thomas Dunlop (Winnipeg, MB) and 8-5 against Sherry Just/Chad Gareau (Winnipeg, MB). Powers/Saunders won 7-3 against Manitoba's Sarah-Jane Sass/Lucas Van Den Bosch, then won 7-5 against Chaelynn Kitz/Brayden Stewart (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Manitoba Mixed Doubles Curling Tour Championship, Powers/Saunders take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $800CDN prize.
