Nyberg went on to lose 5-3 against Simon Granbom (Granit, SWE). Nyberg responded with a 7-4 win over Michael Roxin (Linkoping, SWE). Nyberg went on to lose 6-4 against Gert Precenth (Mjolby, SWE). Nyberg lost 6-2 to Daniel Magnusson (Karlstad, SWE). Nyberg lost 9-1 to 's Axel Landelius in their final qualifying round match.
