Granbom finished 10-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Granbom defeated Michael Roxin (Linkoping, SWE) 10-3, then won 8-4 against Westerberg and 7-1 against 's Axel Landelius. Granbom won 6-3 against Daniel Magnusson (Karlstad, SWE), then won 11-1 against Mats Mabergs (Malung, SWE). Granbom went on to lose 9-4 against Fredrik Nyman (Solleftea, SWE). Granbom responded with a 5-3 win over Mats Nyberg (Danderyds, SWE). Granbom won 6-3 against 's Nicklas Soderberg, then won 9-4 against Rosander and 6-5 against Fredrik Julius (Sundbybergs, SWE). Granbom won 9-3 against Gert Precenth (Mjolby, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Swedish Eliteserien Championship title, Granbom earned 11.250 world rankings points. For week 32 of the event schedule, Granbom did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Granbom ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
