Young won 7-2 against Jacob Libbus (Okotoks, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Young earned 12.750 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the U25 NextGen Classic, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 50th place overall with 74.250 total points. Young ranks 30th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.750 points earned so far this season.
