Forsythe went on to lose 8-6 against Skylar Ackerman (Saskatoon, SK). Forsythe responded with a 6-3 win over Holly Hafeli (Kamloops, BC). Forsythe went on to lose 6-4 against Grace Beaudry (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Forsythe earned 1.875 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 30 spots the World Ranking Standings into 166th place overall with 6.188 total points. Forsythe ranks 64th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.875 points earned so far this season.
