Ross LaVallee (Winnipeg, MB) lost 11-2 to Joseph Comte (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Canadian Deaf Curling Championship, held April 21 - 23, 2023 in Morris, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, LaVallee won 6-3 over Ontario's David Morton in the semifinals of the 2023 Canadian Deaf Curling Championship in Morris, Manitoba;
 
LaVallee finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, LaVallee lost 7-4 to Comte, then responded with a 9-5 win over Alberta's Calvin Novak. LaVallee won 7-6 against Ontario's David Morton in their final qualifying round match.
