Krause won 4-1 against Landelius in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Sundbyberg Open Championship title, Krause earned 7.500 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 20 spots the World Ranking Standings into 112th place overall with 26.857 total points. Krause ranks 73rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 18.750 points earned so far this season.
