To advance to the championship game, Walker/Muyres won 8-6 over Cathy Overton-Clapham/Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) in the semifinals of the 2023 Mixed Doubles Super Series - Winnipeg in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 7-5 over Aileen Geving/John Shuster (Duluth, MN) in the quarterfinals.
 
Walker/Muyres finished 5-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walker/Muyres defeated Kerri Einarson/Kyle Einarson (Gimli, MB) 7-5, then won 9-3 against Mackenzie Arbuckle/Aaron Macdonell (Winnipeg, MB) and 9-0 against Kirstin Nickel/Gabriel Nickel (Hudson, WI). Walker/Muyres won 7-2 against Jaelyn Cotter/Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC), then won 8-6 against Tahli Gill/Dean Hewitt (Brisbane, AUS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Mixed Doubles Super Series - Winnipeg, Walker/Muyres take home 19.250 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN prize.
