To advance to the championship game, Walker/Muyres won 8-6 over Cathy Overton-Clapham/Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) in the semifinals of the 2023 Mixed Doubles Super Series - Winnipeg in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 7-5 over Aileen Geving/John Shuster (Duluth, MN) in the quarterfinals.
Walker/Muyres finished 5-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walker/Muyres defeated Kerri Einarson/Kyle Einarson (Gimli, MB) 7-5, then won 9-3 against Mackenzie Arbuckle/Aaron Macdonell (Winnipeg, MB) and 9-0 against Kirstin Nickel/Gabriel Nickel (Hudson, WI).
