Kim/Jeong Reaches 2023 Mixed Doubles Super Series

Jiyoon Kim/ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR) qualified for the 2023 Mixed Doubles Super Series - Oakville playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-7 against Cory Thiesse/Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN).

Kim/Jeong finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . Kim/Jeong went on to lose 7-3 against Tori Koana/Go Aoki (Karuizawa, JPN). Kim/Jeong lost 6-5 to Kristin Moen Skaslien/Magnus Nedregotten (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Kim/Jeong earned 21.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Mixed Doubles Super Series - Oakville. For week 23 of the event schedule, Kim/Jeong did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 42nd place on the World Ranking Standings with 45.096 total points. Kim/Jeong ranks 50th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.126 points earned so far this season.
