Martine Roenning/Mathias Braenden (Lillehammer, NOR) won 7-6 over Mary Myketyn-Driscoll/Adam McEachren (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Mixed Doubles Super Series - Halifax, held January 4 - 7, 2024 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. To advance to the championship game, Roenning/Braenden won 8-4 over Jiyoon Kim/ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR) in the semifinals of the 2024 Mixed Doubles Super Series - Halifax in Halifax, Nova Scotia; and won 8-3 over Lauren Wasylkiw/Shane Konings (Stouffville, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Mixed Doubles Super Series - Halifax in Halifax, Nova Scotia;

Roenning/Braenden finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roenning/Braenden defeated Sarah Chaytor/David McCurdy (Halifax, NS) 6-3, then won 6-5 against Kristin Moen Skaslien/Magnus Nedregotten (Oslo, NOR) and 10-2 against Karlee Burgess/Jacques Gauthier (Winnipeg, MB). Roenning/Braenden won 7-0 against Heather Smith/Owen Purcell (Halifax, NS). Roenning/Braenden went on to lose 8-3 against Oihane Otaegi/Mikel Unanue (San Sebastian, ESP) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Mixed Doubles Super Series - Halifax Championship title, Roenning/Braenden earned 45.000 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 806th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 147.314 total points. Roenning/Braenden ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 110.376 points earned so far this season.
