Richter/McLeod Reaches 2023 Penticton Mixed Doubles Quarters

Marilou Richter/Craig McLeod (Penticton, BC) qualified for the 2023 Penticton Mixed Doubles playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-0 against Brittany Tran/Aaron Sluchinski (Airdrie, AB).

Richter/McLeod finished 3-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . Richter/McLeod responded with a 7-5 win over Kitty Freeborn/Kevin Freeborn (Penticton, BC). Richter/McLeod went on to lose 10-1 against Alyssa Kyllo/Tyrel Griffith (Vernon, BC). Richter/McLeod responded with a 7-5 win over Leah Johnston/Andrew Johnston (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Richter/McLeod earned 3.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Penticton Mixed Doubles. For week 19 of the event schedule, Richter/McLeod did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Richter/McLeod ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
